Use Case First

I recently completed AWS training on Developing Generative AI Solutions. One thing the GenAI lifecycle makes clear: without a sharp use case definition, even the best-architected solutions ship and then sit unused.

The use case is not a formality at the start of the lifecycle. It sets the value statement, the success metric, the data you need, and the risk you are accepting. Every later decision, from model choice to evaluation, depends on it. Get it wrong and the rest of the work is well-built waste.
